Appeals people to hold sit-in on Friday
Srinagar, Apr 11 (KNS): Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Wednesday called for shutdown on Thursday against the civilian killings in South Kashmir’s Kulgam and Shopian district.
JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a presser condemned the civilian killings in Southern districts and called for a complete shutdown on Thursday. The leadership also appealed people to hold sit-in outside their respective Masjid’s to protest against the civilian killings. Notably, Geelani and Mirwaiz addressed media persons telephonically while Malik was present on the occasion. (KNS)
