Srinagar, Apr 03 (KNS): After keeping high speed mobile internet suspended for more than 48 hours, the authorities Tuesday restored it in Kashmir valley barring southern districts on Tuesday.
Authorities had clamped down Internet service on Sunday following biggest insurgency operation of a decade in south Kashmir in which 13 militants, four civilians and three army men were killed.
While, 2G mobile telephony was running at scattered places in Kashmir, high speed Internet remained suspended continued to remain suspended.
Blocking Internet service has become a norm in Kashmir whenever protests erupt in the valley. (KNS)
