Teachers hundreds in number protested in Anantnag against the non-cooperative attitude of the govt for not fulfilling their demands.
A demonstration was organised by teachers forum Anantnag and SSA teachers urging govt to delink the salaries of SSA teachers.
Starting from sports stadium Anantnag the demonstration ended in Deputy Commissioner’s office complex and later on a memorandum was presented to DC Anantnag by the members of teachers forum and SSA teachers.
Talking to media District teachers forum president, Showkat Ahmad said if demands of teachers are not fulfilled they will lock out the schools and govt will be responsible for all consequences.
