Aasiya’s home not raided: NIA

Dukhtaran-E-Millat (DEM) chiefAasiyaAndrabi’sSoura residence wasn’t raided but visited by NIA men to verify some facts about the case currently being investigated by the agency, said NIA inspector general of police Alok Mittal.
In June, the National Investigation Agency registered a case against Aasiya for allegedly using “various media platforms to spread insurrectionist imputations and hateful speeches that endanger the integrity, security and sovereignty of India”.

 She and two of her associates SofiFehmeeda and NahidaNasreen were also charged “running a terrorist organisation named as Dukhtaran-E-Millat which is proscribed under the First Schedule to the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967”.
