Pattan, August 29: Government forces on Saturday Evening launched a Cordon and Search Operation in Goushbug village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials told Kashmir Crown , that a joint team of Army’s 29RR , and Special Operation Group (SOG) of police laid a siege at Goushbug village of Pattan Sub Division on late Sunday evening.
A police officer said that the Cordon and Search Operation was launched following inputs about the movement of some suspected militants.
All the entry and exit points of the area were sealed by Government forces.
However, search operation was going on when this report was filed.
