Anti corruption bureau raided ITI Tral based on a complaint by the local citizen.
Superintendent ITI Tral Javed ahmad confirmed it to CNS’ “the raid has been carried by ACB Kashmir acting on a complaint, documents have been seized and further investigation is going on."
When this report was filed the ACB team was still present there.
The local believed that accountability is must and such raids should continue to check the embezzlement of funds by other departments also.
The sudden raid by the anti corruption bureau on ITI was lauded by locals saying, “Corruption has crept in every nerve of society and corrupt officers are behaving in authoritarian tone making life hell for poor people.”```
