🔘👉🏻 Kulgam 08 November:District Police Kulgam recovered a kidnapped girl and arrested the person involved in committing the crime.
Police Station Kulgam on 04.11.2020 received a written complaint stating that a girl (Name withheld) had been kidnapped by one individual identified as Aejaz Ahmad Rather S/O Ali Mohammad Rather resident of Gundbal Mohammadpora.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 197/2020 U/S 109,366 IPC was registered at Police Station Kulgam and investigation was set into motion.
A special team headed by SHO Kulgam Insp. Davinder Singh under the supervision of DYSP HQRs Kulgam Shri. Ghulam Mohd Bhat-JKPS was constituted and specific information was generated by the investigating team through which officers were able to recover the kidnapped girl and arrested the kidnapper. He has been shifted to Police Station Kulgam where he remains in custody and further investigation is in process.
