✅Srinagar: 8 phase election ist notification tommorrow.
Municipal elections – 234 vacant seats going to polls
22 Dec counting date.
First time District Development Council elections to be held
5 year term for DDC.
By elections for vacant seats for Sarpanch and Panch also going to be held.
Election for DDC, unfilled panchayat seats, and vacant posts of municipalities will be held in 8 phases and results will be declared on Nov 22 with whole process to be completed on Dec 24. Code of conduct comes into force from today . CEO, Hirdesh kumar .
Electoral role of Panchayat halka will be used for DDC election they are being updated, west Pakistani refugees who earlier were not voting earlier for J&K elections can now vote in these elections.
28 Nov to 22 Dec polling in 8 phases .
